North Aurora Community Parade
The 7th Annual North Aurora Community Parade will be on Sunday, June 5th at 3 pm. Our theme this year is: Cheers for Volunteers. Please take a look at the application for our Parade King and Queen Scholarship, as well as applications to march in the parade.
The parade begins at Blessed Sacrament Church near the corner of Oak Street and Juniper Drive, proceeds east on Oak, south on Adams Street, east on Route 56, and ends at North Aurora Island Park on the riverfront. Following the parade, the North Aurora River District Alliance sponsors a Post-Parade Party with food vendors, family-friendly activities, and the annual Rubber Duck Race.
Parade King & Queen Contest
Interested in a college scholarship? Enter the 2016 Parade King & Queen Contest! The North Aurora Mothers Club will award two $1,000 scholarships, one each to the King and Queen of our annual Community Parade. All applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, May 6th. All groups marching in the parade must adhere to the North Aurora Community Parade Rules and Safety Guidelines.
