North Aurora Mothers Club was founded in 1997. Through philanthropic endeavors, community service projects, member support programs, and participation with organizations of similar purposes, the North Aurora Mothers Club works to improve the well being of children and families of North Aurora, Illinois and its immediate surrounding communities.

Our philanthropic endeavors have included:

  • Coordinating donations of gifts and money that are collected from our community and distributed to families in need.
  • Donated $25,000.00 for the outdoor porch at the North Aurora Messenger Public Library.
  • Awarding college scholarships to mothers of children under the age of 18 who have show financial need.
  • Disbursement of over $100,000 to schools, families in need, and other organizations since its inception in 1997.

Our community service projects have included:

  • Offering Halloween Party and Movie Night free of charge.
  • Organizing the North Aurora Baseball Parade
  • Sponsoring Safety Day with the NAPD and the NAFD.

Our member support programs include:

  • Organizing playgroups and activities for members’ children
  • Planning outings for members and their families
  • Coordinating support needs for club members and their families

We are governed by an executive board and a general board. The executive board consists of a president, president-elect, two vice presidents, a secretary and a treasurer. The general board consists of the chairperson for each of the 12 committees.
